How to set up and use Two-factor Authentication

Step 1: Download and install Google Authenticator or another OTP application for your device (FreeOTP, Microsoft Authenticator, Authenticator Plus, Duo).

Step 2: Enable Two-factor Authentication

  1. Open Merchant Account

  2. Scan the displayed QR code with OTP app or enter the key and create in-app account.

  3. Enter a one-time password, provided by OTP app, in the field below the QR code.

  4. Save the provided recovery code in a safe place - it may be used if you lose your device.

You have successfully enabled Two-factor Authentication (2FA).

Step 3: Using of Two-factor Authentication

  1. The next time you sign in services of Unlimint, the system will ask you to enter the one-time password.

  2. Enter a digit code provided by OTP app to complete authentication.

How to reset Two-factor Authentication

If you have access to the connected OTP app

Step 1: Reset the current 2FA setting

  1. Sign in Merchant Account, go to “Profile” > “Two-factor Authentication”.

  2. Press “Reset current 2FA setting” and confirm it with a one-time password.

Step 2: Re-enable your 2FA

Once you reset 2FA, you will need to set up it on your new device or the device you wish to use during the next time you sign in services of Unlimint.

If you lost access to the connected OTP app

Step 1: Request the reset of current 2FA Setting via Recovery code

  1. After entering login & password, choose "Lost your device?" option.

  2. Enter recovery code that was provided to you when you enabled two factor authentication.

  3. At the time 2FA setting is reset, we will send a notification email to your registered email address.

Step 2: Re-enable your 2FA

Once we reset 2FA, you will need to set up it on your new device or the device you wish to use during the next time you sign in services of Unlimint.

OR

Step 1: Request the reset of current 2FA setting via Recovery code in Merchant Account having trusted device

  1. Sign in Merchant Account using trusted device, go to “Profile” > “Two-factor Authentication”.

  2. Press “Reset current 2FA setting” and confirm it with a recovery code.

Step 2: Re-enable your 2FA

Once we reset 2FA, you will need to set up it on your new device or the device you wish to use during the next time you sign in services of Unlimint.

OR

Step 1: Request the reset of current 2FA Setting via Support service

  1. Contact the Support service by EmailSkype or Contact us form.

  2. To confirm identity you will need to answer your Terminal password (the last 3 values) and Termianl ID.

  3. After indentity confirmed, you may request the Support service to reset the current 2FA setting.

  4. At the time 2FA setting is reset, we will send a notification email to your registered email address.

Step 2: Re-enable your 2FA

Once we reset 2FA, you will need to set up it on your new device or the device you wish to use during the next time you sign in services of Unlimint.

If you lost the recovery code

Reset 2FA and setup it again to obtain the new recovery code .
